Is the Hospitality Management Program Right for You?

Are you the type of person who wears a smile and thrives in a fast-paced, often hectic environment? Are you able to make important decisions on the fly while working as part of a team that puts customers first? Do you want to learn by experience how to manage a successful operation right here in the tourism-rich region of Sarasota-Bradenton, instead of sitting in a classroom every day?

If so, a Hospitality Management degree from USFSM will give you a taste of what it is like to pursue a career in the global hospitality and tourism industry. A Culinary Innovation Lab and a teaching hotel partnership with the Resort at Longboat Key Club are just two of the program’s unique strengths.

USF Sarasota-Manatee also offers study abroad and exchange programs with several international partners, as well as scholarships and financial aid for qualified hospitality majors. Classes are taught in the traditional classroom setting as well as online, so students can choose the learning style that best fits their needs.
