Communication Sciences & Disorders
College of Science & Mathematics
“Communication―the human connection―is the key to personal and career success.” ― Paul J. Meyer
At USF Sarasota-Manatee, students in the Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) program can earn a concentration in Speech-Language Sciences and have the opportunity to earn the degree entirely online. This allows for the most flexibility for students with busy schedules, without losing the benefits of a diverse student body, and faculty with expertise in online instruction, clinical practice and research.
Students complete an online orientation and an advising session prior to registration for classes. The program is offered full-time (four courses per term) or part-time (two courses per term). Students must complete specific courses each semester and are responsible for having technology that meets program specifications.
According to US News and World Report, CSD has high growth and employment potential, making this degree valuable to graduates who wish to work within this specific field.
