Study Spaces

Cook Library

A 10 minute walk from the main building, the Jane Bancroft Cook Library offers quiet and collaborative study space during library hours for all USFSM students. Students can reserve study carrels or find silent study areas here. For more information, please visit the Using the Library page.

Laurey and Charlie Stryker Rotunda Study Area

The Information Commons main rotunda (located in front of the Academic Resource Desk) is outfitted with desks, computers, and study chairs. It’s ideal for doing work between classes and for short collaborative sessions with classmates.

Group Study

The Information Commons group study area is located behind the Academic Resource Desk and provides students with a collaborative on-campus work space. Computers are available.

Classroom Use

Need to meet with a group of classmates to practice a presentation or work on a project? Empty classrooms are available for use by students on a first-come, first-served basis. To request use of a classroom, please speak to an attendant at the Information Commons Resource Desk. Classrooms use is subject to availability and cannot be reserved or held ahead of time.
