Ildiko Toth is an instructor in the College of Business at USF Sarasota-Manatee, teaching Intermediate Accounting courses and Accounting Information Systems. She previously taught Tax 4001: Concepts of Federal Income Taxation on the Tampa campus.
She holds an M.S. degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she also served as an instructor, as well as a BS in business administration from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her academic credentials, Toth is a CPA and has considerable experience including that of a tax adviser, business analyst, and as a revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Her research interests include individual and corporate taxation issues, business ethics, and issues related to learning, curriculum design, decision making and judgment. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs.
Toth’s service contributions included coordinating and planning the USF Accounting Circle CPE Conference in Tampa which is attended annually by over 500 CPAs. She also served as a liaison to the Accounting Circle and was involved in planning many events including the Welcome Back Picnic hosted on the Tampa campus. Additional service assignments included coordinating the learning assurance assessment for the School of Accountancy and participating on various other committees.
