The Culinary Innovation Lab at USF Sarasota-Manatee is a state-of-the-art teaching facility that serves as a culinary home for the USFSM College of Hospitality and Tourism Leadership. The lab provides a fully-equipped teaching center for students in the Hospitality Management program, as well as an inviting venue for signature USFSM events, both public and private.


USFSM’s College of Hospitality & Tourism Leadership added this exciting new teaching facility to its Hospitality Management program in January 2014.

In October 2013, USFSM signed a four-year lease with Schroeder-Manatee Ranch for the 4,000+ square-foot space formerly occupied by the Viking Culinary Center on Lakewood Ranch’s Main Street. The lease was brokered by David Fletcher of Wagner Realty’s Commercial and Investment Division, following about a year of negotiations.
