Third-Party Employer Agreement

In providing services for third-party recruiters, University policy requires that:

– Third-party recruiters and the client operate in congruence with the university policy of Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and do not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin. An employer or agency using the services of Career Services understands that compliance with all related federal and state statutes and regulations is required for initiation or continuance of Career Services.

– Third-party recruiters will abide by the Principles for Third-Party Recruiters, as described in the “NACE Principles for Professional Practice”: https://www.naceweb.org/knowledge/principles-for-professional-practice.aspx?terms=Third%20Party%20policies

– The fee for all positions listed by third-party recruiters with Career Services will be paid by the employer-client.

– The client-employer name must be listed in the job/internship description or, if the information cannot be made public, the third-party recruiter will release the client-employer name only to Career Services by emailing the Job ID Number from College Central Network to Toni Ripo (tripo@sar.usf.edu).

– If the client-employer has already posted the position in the online job/internship posting system, third-party recruiters may not post the same position.

– All positions listed must state that the candidate-student is working with a third-party recruiter and will include the link to “A Student’s Guide to Interviewing with Third-Party Recruiters”: http://www.naceweb.org/knowledge/third-party-recruiters.aspx?terms=third%20party%20policy

– The third-party recruiter will secure from the candidate-student written consent to share prior to disclosing any information about the candidate-student to the client-employer. Under no circumstances can candidate-student information be disclosed for reasons other than the original recruiting purposes, nor can it be sold or provided to other entities.

– Third-party recruiters attending career fairs will represent only those employer-clients who have authorized them to recruit on their behalf and will disclose to Career Services the names of the represented client-employers.

Third-Party Recruiter Services:

Career Services will promote the job and pertinent information through normal channels, which may include the website, online job/internship posting system, bulletin boards, referral to faculty and/or staff, and/or direct referral to candidate-students. The third-party recruiters will be listed as the contact and identified as an employment agency.

If a third party-recruiter wishes to interview candidates on campus or attend career fairs, that recruiter will agree to abide by the above policies and to identify the represented employer-client(s) to both Career Services and potential university interviewees. Third-party recruiters who elect to interview on campus should understand that the candidate information provided by Career Services is to be used exclusively for the employer-client(s) so identified.
