Enterprise Holdings Foundation continues to support the career opportunities of USF Sarasota-Manatee students with a recent $4,000 donation to sponsor professional development programs in Career Services. These programs prepare students for making successful first impressions with potential employers, honing good communications skills and presenting themselves professionally in the job search process. Enterprise Holdings Foundation has been supporting USF Sarasota-Manatee’s Career Services since 2007, donating a total of $15,000.
“We appreciate Enterprise’s support throughout the years,” said Toni Ripo, coordinator of USFSM’s Career Services. “Students build confidence in themselves by participating in the activities and events sponsored by Enterprise.”
Enterprise Rent-A-Car also hires USF Sarasota-Manatee students into their Management Trainee Internship and Management Trainee positions, leading to careers involving sales and leadership roles within the car rental industry. Laura Scott, Talent Acquisition Specialist at Enterprise Holdings of SWFL, says the company is a top recruiter for local students. “We find that higher education means a lot and shows a commitment to a long term goal,” Scott said. “Students in our Management Trainee program and Management Trainee Internship learn the business from the ground up and will be promoted based on their performance and drive to become future leaders in our company.” Scott, herself a USF Tampa graduate (Finance, 2007), began her career as a Management Trainee.
