The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee’s Institute for Public Policy and Leadership will host part two of the “Reinvent Yourself” series on Thursday, August 12th from 4:00-5:30pm. The program will take place in the Selby Auditorium at USF Sarasota-Manatee at 8350 North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Previous attendance at the first session of this three part series is not necessary.
This session is entitled “Global Connections: Thinking Outside the State.” The session will provide opportunities to meet local entrepreneurs who are finding success through innovation and a vision for global connections. Learn how they do it, where they find the courage to take the risk, and how they can help other local businesses do the same. Panelists include Annie Eng of HP Ingredients, Victoria Finley of Osprey Biotechnics, and Robert Fisher of Roaring Toyz. A follow-up workshop will be offered on Friday, August 13th from 9:00am – 12:00 noon, also in the Selby Auditorium. The workshop, titled “Working From Strength,” is a half-day program, which will build on the fundamentals from the Thursday night program.
The Thursday program is free and open to the public, but registration is mandatory. The cost to attend the Friday workshop is $75 per person. You may register by calling 941.359.4602.
