SMILE Meeting/Technology Fair

On September 21, 2011 from 3:30-5pm, a group of “exhibits” will be set up in the Selby Auditorium where students and any others who are interested can walk around, learn, talk to others about using a particular technology as a learning tool.

Likely topics to be covered include:

  • Promethian ActivBoard
  • Atomic Learning
  • Using a digital white board
  • Technology resources for children with special needs
  • Task Stream
  • Digital Library Math Manipulatives
  • Digital citizenship
  • Online tutorial on writing resumes and cover letters
  • & more!

If you (or someone you know) would like to show our students some aspect of technology that you know about or use, please contact Janet King (jvking@sar.usf.edu) or Dale Drees (ddrees@sar.usf.edu) – the more the better.  If you have students who have something to show or talk about, please encourage them to contact Janet or Dale and they will find space.
