The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will host the “Gear Up for Grad School” workshop on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Selby Auditorium at USF Sarasota-Manatee (USFSM), located at 8350 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. The workshop will include a panel of alumni who will discuss their experiences at USFSM and answer any questions.
The free workshop is intended for those interested in pursuing a graduate level degree at USFSM and offers seminars along with free GMAT and GRE practice testing. Attendees are welcome to attend the full program or individual sessions. The welcome and alumni panel will take place from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m.

“Gear Up for Grad School” includes an introductory information session, breakout sessions with faculty and program specialists, a financial aid workshop, campus tours, a cookout in the courtyard, and free GMAT and GRE practice testing. The workshop options are as follows:

Welcome and Alumni Panel – Panel discussion with USFSM Graduates.
• 11:00 – 11:45 a.m.
Breakout Sessions with Faculty and Staff – Meet with a Professor from your program of interest.
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 p.m.
Cookout in the Courtyard
• 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Financial Aid Workshop – Meet with a Financial Aid representative to find out more options about funding your way through Grad School and filling out the FAFSA.
