Quality Matters (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process that is designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses. QM is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach and continuous improvement in online education and student learning. The QM process reviews course design using the following eight standards: Course Overview and Introduction, Learning Objectives, Assessment and Measurement, Instructional materials, Learner Interaction and Engagement, Course Technology, Learner Support, and Accessibility.

USF Sarasota-Manatee is a QM subscriber and we encourage all faculty instructing online or blended courses to participate in this prestigious peer review process. Certified courses receive national recognition in an online database for distance education.  Our Instructional Design team in E-Learning Services is available to work with faculty in preparation for QM Peer Review.  Contact us to learn how to get started! elearning@sar.usf.edu
