E-Learning Blog: Quality Matters Workshops

E-Learning Services is proud to offer two Quality Matters Workshops during the Fall 2016 term.

Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) will be offered as a one day, face-to-face workshop on Friday, September 30th from 8 AM – 4 PM.  Participants in the APPQMR will gain a general overview of the Quality Matters rubric and will practice applying specific course review standards to an online course.  Participants will be able to identify the steps involved in a Quality Matters Course Review.  Participants who complete the APPQMR will be eligible to move forward to complete the required training in order to become a Quality Matters Certified Peer Reviewer.

Improving your Online Course (IYOC) will be offered as a two-week online workshop from Monday, October 3rd – Monday, October 17th.  Participants in the IYOC will gain a general overview of the Quality Matters rubric.  They will have the opportunity to apply specific course review standards to one of their own online courses and will develop a course improvement plan based on their course review.
