QM is a faculty-centered, peer review process that is designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses. QM is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach and continuous improvement in online education and student learning. The QM process reviews course design using the following eight standards: Course Overview and Introduction, Learning Objectives, Assessment and Measurement, Instructional materials, Learner Interaction and Engagement, Course Technology, Learner Support, and Accessibility.
USF Sarasota-Manatee is a QM subscriber. We encourage all faculty instructing online or blended courses to participate in this prestigious peer review process. Certified courses receive national recognition in an online database for distance education.
