Campus Police Offers Valuable Services

USF Sarasota-Manatee

Campus Police and USFSM Security welcomes you back to USF Sarasota-Manatee.

The department would like to tell you about just some of the services we offer to Students, Faculty, and Staff.

Campus Police offers safety escorts to and from your vehicle.  If it is late or you just don’t feel comfortable in a situation, call Campus Police at 941-487-4210, or USFSM Security at 941-993-8548.

Please report suspicious persons or activity to Campus Police.  Please don’t leave personal belongings unattended such as laptops, backpacks, and purses.  Leaving items unattended can cause undue concern to others and subject the owner to becoming the victim of theft.  USFSM Security maintains a Lost and Found with items of value transferred to Campus Police.

Campus Police can unlock vehicles and provide jump starts.  We will ask you to sign a waiver and might not be able to help if damage is caused to your vehicle.

Campus Police offers fingerprinting for employment or other purposes and has staff members that can notarize most documents.  There are no charges for these services.  Please call 941-487-4210 for an appointment and other details.

Rape Aggression Defense System or R.A.D. classes.  R.A.D. is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques for females co-sponsored by the Counseling and Wellness Center.  Email Officer Jennifer Andreoli for additional information and upcoming class dates to jandreoli@ncf.edu.

Campus Police maintains an excellent relationship with ALL local Law Enforcement Agencies.  Call Campus Police if they can assist in getting you to the right agency for your off-campus Law Enforcement needs.

Please visit the website at www.usfsm.edu/campuspolice for other services and information about Campus Police.  Please call us if we can be of service to you.  Some non-emergency services may be delayed due to higher priority calls for service.
