Campus Police announce R.A.D. Workshops and Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The Rape Aggression Defense System, known as R.A.D., is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands on self-defense training.  Open to USFSM and New College students, faculty and staff.  Three evening sessions September 26-28, 6 PM – 10 PM.   Enrollment is limited. The USF/New College Campus Police station will be a collection site to turn in unused and expired prescription drugs for safe disposal during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, from 10 am to 2 pm. Participation in the program is completely anonymous. Drop off at 501 College Drive, on the New College campus. The public should park in the Heiser Natural Sciences parking lot opposite the police station. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is conducted through the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency in conjunction with state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.
