"A leader's job is not to do the work for others, it's to help others figure out how to do it themselves, to get things done, and to succeed beyond what they thought possible." - Simon Sinek
Is the Management Program Right for You?
Do you enjoy leadership roles that encourage others to be successful? Are you passionate about the opportunity to “make things happen?” USFSM’s Management degree promotes effective communication, problem solving and decision-making.
With a focus on people in organizations, managers develop the human capital of organizations. Motivating and developing an organization’s workforce today requires attention to relationships with people inside and outside the organization, locally and across the world.
Management is responsible for the triple bottom-line: financial profits, environmental good and social good. The curriculum in USFSM's Management program will help you gain knowledge and skills in the areas of leadership, employee attitudes, teamwork, decision making, conflict resolution and organizational development. You'll also learn about topics in human resource management, including recruitment and hiring, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, negotiations, labor relations, safety and health.
