Jamey A. Darnell is currently a Visiting Instructor of Management at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Pepperdine University and an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird.  He is currently completing his DBA degree at the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida with a dissertation on Corporate Social Responsibility as it relates to managerial strategy.  He is ABD with an expected graduation in the summer of 2017.  Additionally, he completed 27 credit hours in the PhD program in Management at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Mr. Darnell has over 15 years of experience teaching classes in person, online, and in blended formats.  He has taught courses including (but not limited to) Strategic Management, International Management, Entrepreneurship, Ethics, and Organizational Behavior.  He is familiar with a variety of pedagogical techniques and technology tools.  His research interests are broadly related to leader/manager decision making in the areas of strategy, international management, and ethics.  He has presented and conducted workshops at international conferences including USASBE and AOM.
