Our campus is a 100,000 square foot facility, filled with classrooms, a 200-seat Selby Auditorium, video conference rooms, computer labs, student lounge, fitness center and more.
But words don’t do the place justice. Take a guided tour to walk down our halls, picture yourself in our classrooms or stroll along our scenic courtyard. Nothing helps you choose a school quite like a campus visit does. Lay under the pine trees on one of our courtyard hammocks. See for yourself why so many fall in love with USFSM.
Campus tours are offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and most Fridays at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tours begin in the lobby of the Student Services Office. All tours include:
- A 60 to 90 minute campus experience led by a current or former USFSM student or an admissions counselor.
- An overview of academic programs and insight to the admissions process.
- An opportunity to view classrooms, the information commons, student centers, outdoor courtyard areas, student lounge, fitness center, student government office and much more.
El Toro Tour
For groups of 5 or less people (including other families scheduled for the same tour), we offer extended campus tours on our low-speed vehicle “El Toro” that includes the Guilford Trail, breathtaking views of Sarasota Bay and our other shared services.
USFSM accommodates special groups interested in visiting campus by providing a tour experience tailored to best meet your needs. Whether you want to take a quick tour of campus or would like to spend several hours on campus getting to know our students, faculty and staff, we are here to ensure an informative and interactive group visit.
It is preferred that group tours take place on a Friday; however, group tours can be arranged on other weekdays with advanced notice. To ensure all group visits are coordinated effectively we ask that requests are submitted at least three weeks prior to the week you intend to visit. Please visit our Admissions Events page to attend an upcoming Open House or Information Session. At Open Houses and Information Sessions, our Admissions and Academic Advisors are here to help you gain an individualized perspective on our academic programs (Undergraduate/Graduate), admissions process, and financial aid opportunities. These events allow you meet in small groups with the Academic Advisor responsible for your area of study to review course prerequisites, transcripts and other pertinent details of your program.
